The first graduate nurse in the entire history of IjebuLand,Southwest Nigeria, Alhaja M.A. Sanni, is dead.
Platforms Africa reports that Sanni’s death,announced by the family, has elicited mourning among her Ijebu kinsmen and women who took turns to extol her virtues.

Adebayo Adeneye-Adejuwon who confirmed Sanni’s death took to his Facebook page to pour eulogies on the great daughter of IjebuLand.

“Impressive credentials! According to a family source, Alhaja M. A. Sanni passed away yesterday at 93.
“May the soul of Mama Sanni rest in peace in the bosom of her creator,” he wrote.
In her view, Abimbola Olabomi Shogbamu Aladete, said; “May her gentle soul rest in peace. She was really a Nightingale if her time. I appreciate her contributions towards the growth of nursing profession in Nigeria and in particular Ijebu Ode.”

According to Olalekan Rabiu, Sanni demonstrated commitments to the growth of Ijebuland.
“REST IN PEACE MAMA,THE TRUE OMO IJEBU ALARE…….. SUN RE MAMA WA,” he wrote on Facebook.
